The wrapping paper roll has a definite texture to the surface and feels a bit like vinyl wallpaper. It is very thick and quite difficult to fold and stick, my sticky tape is not branded so this could be a me problem! The inside of the paper is smooth and bright white. The twine is lovely. There is a natural (garden) twine, a leather look lace bundle and twine with red cotton twisted around it, which looks festive. The best bit is you can write a message on the gift tag and cover it with a gold sticker, which will then be scratched off by the gift recipient. This is a novel idea, I like it. For the price of £11.99, at the time of this review, this is good value for a wrapping set with 6 novel gift tags and twine. 4 stars.
